| The Session |  |
The Session is the governing body of the church. As stewards of the church of God, they act sort of like the Board of Directors act in other organizations.
At North Presbyterian Church, the elders on Session also act as the Board of Trustees of the religious corporation. In this capacity they handle the civil affairs of the church.
