- Worship - every Sunday at 11 a.m.
- Communion - on the first Sunday of the month
- Bible Study - Wednesdays at 6 p.m.
- Community Meal - Second Saturdays from Noon to 2 p.m.
- Session Meetings - Third Sundays after Fellowship
The congregation gathers in the sanctuary to worship every Sunday at 11 a.m. As worship plays a vital role in the life of the congregation, a separate section is devoted to it, which you can see here.
As part of worship on the first Sunday of each month (and other
appropriate times), the congregation celebrates Communion or the
Sacrament of the Lord's Supper. Following the worship, the minister
and officers visit the sick and shut-in and celebrate home communion
with them. If there is someone else who needs to be visited, please
let the moderator of the Board of Deacons know.
Bible Study offers us the opportunity to learn more about God and to dig more deeply into Scripture. More information can be found on its own page.
North
Presbyterian Church has a long tradition of providing a Community Meal
for anyone that chooses to come. Every second Saturday, we serve lunch
for those who come. Some come because they need the food, some come
because they need the fellowship. Whatever the reason, all are
welcome. More recently, Mawuhle Presbyterian Church has joined us as
co-sponsors of this mission program. We would like to welcome you to
the community meal either as a guest or as a worker. Members also
donate the food that volunteers spend all morning preparing.
The Session holds its regular ("stated") meetings every third Sunday following the fellowship that is after worship. This is conducted as an open meeting where the elders conduct the regular work of the church.
